FEFPA Assistantship
FEFPA has established an assistantship program designed to assist
and encourage students pursuing a career in educational facilities
planning or a closely related field. Each assistanceship is for
one year in the amount of $3,000 ($1,500 per semester).
Please note: This page is a only a summary. Please obtain
the application & instruction package below for complete information.
Who can apply:
- Full time Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors & Graduate Students enrolled
in a degree program at an accredited Florida university or community
college who are majoring in facilities planning or a field related
to facilities planning. (Students are not eligible to apply during
their first year of college or university. Current & former members
of the FEFPA Board of Directors are not eligible to apply.) Applicant
must be a Florida resident attending an accredited Florida public
institution of higher education.
- Part time students with full time employment will be considered
if pursuing a degree in a field related to facilities planning.
- Applicants must have a 3.0 grade point average for all college
& university courses completed in order to be eligible. Transcripts
are required and must be attached as part of the complete submittal.
When to Apply:
- In order to be considered, applications must be received
no later than June 1, 2008 for the academic year starting
in August 2008.
